Mongo, Indiana

Friday afternoon me, Trav, Landon and Cadence headed north to Mongo, Indiana for a little canoe trip.  It took us about 45 minutes to get done canoeing. We only did a 4 mile for the sake of the kids sanity.  But they did great.  They really enjoyed looking at nature and trying to find fish in the water.  The water was fairly clear so you could really see through it.
Ok, so this is a bridge, obviously, but what the people at the front desk didn't tell us was that we had to go underneath it!!!!  We really didn't think we were going to fit underneath it.  The water was sort of high to begin with. We had to practically lay down in the canoe to fit under it.  It was hilarious!
Landon wanted to try oaring, he didn't do too bad!
Cadence taking her shot at oaring.
The scenary was beautiful! So peaceful
The family photo on timer, not to bad a shot! Right before shove off!
Landon was super excited to get to where we were going!
Cadence is ready for the canoe trip!
