bLuE aNd WhItE pArAdE!!!

Last weekend we were in Terre Haute to take part in Indiana State's Homecoming festivities. When we first got there on Friday afternoon we headed down to campus to watch the annual Tricycle Derby. Trav and I both participated in it while we were at school. It was so much fun to watch! It brought back so many fun memories of college. My sorority Chi Omega did quite well in placing 2nd overall for the girls race. Trav's fraternity did surprisingly well and finished I think 3rd overall for the guys. The kids really enjoyed it as well.
Saturday morning we started the day off with going to the Blue and White Parade. And of course enjoying some of my mother-in-law's wonderful homemade hot cocoa!!! It's a great way to watch a parade. Here are just a few of the highlights!!

I did a bad job of getting this picture, my camera took too soon. But the kids enjoyed shaking Captain America's hand!
I think this was the Otter from Otter Creek coming over to give high five to Molly, but she wasn't so sure about that.
part of the parade watchers with us, Cadence, Dana, Landon, Abram and Trav

To top it all off ISU won their homecoming game!!!!!!!!!!
S-Y-C-A MORES SYCAMORES, SYCAMORES
WE ARE THE BEST!!!!!!
GO TREES!!!
