Sunday morning we headed up to Detroit to watch the Lions play the Eagles. It had been 9 years since we were last at a Detroit Lions game. I had gotten Trav tickets for his wedding gift. We ended up going to the last game of the season, due to 9/11, and got to be one of that last people in the Detroit Silverdome before they tore it down. So going to Ford Field was pretty exciting. If you know Trav then you know he is one of about 100 Lions fans around. But we went, we tailgated and had a BLAST!!!
No tailgating is complete without your cornhole.
Yes that is Travis drinking a beer......shocking but true!
I had to snap a picture of him coming into the stadium, he was pretty excited and I was excited for him! I know we were both really looking forward to this game.
Our fellow Lions fans in the area, Erika and Justin and "Perm" Justin's dad. Trav was telling the beer guy how to use our camera.

So this is how much of a non Lions fan I was. Did you know they have their own Fight Song??? I was completely baffled by this information. But they do and they sing it every time they score.
Hail the colors Blue and Silver let them wave.
Sing their song and cheer the Gridiron Heroes brave,
Fighting for fame, winning the game,
Dashing to victory as they go.
(Chorus)
Forward down the field,
A charging team that will not yield.
And when the Blue and Silver wave,
Stand and cheer the brave.
Rah, Rah, Rah.
Go hard, win the game.
With honor you will keep your fame.
Down the field and gain,
A Lion victory!
GOooooooooo LIONS!
