Christmas #1

A few weeks back we spent the weekend down in Illinois at Travis' dad's house. It's become tradition that while we are there the kids make their own gingerbread houses. So Kurt and Jen always supply everything we need for it. The kids love it and it's always a treat to see what they build and how much of the stale candy they eat!

Oops, sorry Kurtis my hand totally slipped and covered your beard with royal icing:) hee hee!!

Landon's masterpiece. Gotta love the giant mallows on the house!
Ella's creation. Turned out super duper cute!
Brandt was pretty awesome as well. He put a bunch a tiny m & m's around the perimeter of the house and it looked like lights!
This was my favorite side of Cadence's that she did, the smiley face was too cute!
 Finally, Caitlin's gumdrop house!
Another tradition we do is take turns reading from the Bible, the story of Jesus' birth. It's always a special time. I love hearing all of my nieces and nephews reading!
And finally PRESENTS!!! Abram was all grins about ripping into his gifts!
