Well I am still wrapping my head around the fact that my little baby girl is 6 now!!! Sniff, sniff...
She decided on a Strawberry Shortcake theme this year. Which I loved because when I was 5 I also had a Strawberry Shortcake party. Love it! So we went with it. Here is her cake. It's not one of the more elaborate cakes we've done. But I thought it was cute and fitting for the day.
Doing my kids cakes is my favorite part of their birthday parties. It is so much fun to build and create something just for them!
Givin' Ella some love for her gifts.
Hello my name is Cadence. I am a lipstickaholic. I eat, sleep, breathe lipstick. I try to wear it on a daily basis. It is scary how well I put it on with out a mirror. So yes that is what she is holding and why she is so obviously excited. My sister gave her her very own tube of red lipstick. Because every time she is at my sister's she is insistent upon applying it. She also received 10 tubes of "mood" lipstick from my Aunt Bonnie that she loves as well. She told her Aunt Michalina that it stays on for "two days" and let me tell you she's NOT lying. I'm certain she will be the only girl on her softball team this summer wearing lipstick. She seriously has to be put on lipstick lockdown on some days.
Cadence and her cake and if you haven't noticed lipstick!
This is so Cadence. She was about to blow out her candles but sat eyes closed tightly and made her wish for about 1 minute. I only wish I knew what it was! So adorable! I love this little girl so much!
